SimplyLatine is where we do the work of remembering who we are and leading from that place.
This space centers reconnecting to and honoring our Black and Indigenous roots, while unlearning the ways we’ve been taught to shrink or perform. Through coaching, storytelling, and community-centered learning, we make sense of our histories, name harm, and build more honest, grounded ways of leading as our full selves.
Why This Work Matters
We didn’t lose our roots, we were taught to forget them.
Through assimilation, silence, and survival, many of us learned to distance ourselves from parts of who we are. That forgetting still shapes how we move, relate, and lead, often asking us to shrink, code-switch, or disconnect just to belong. This space is about remembering and choosing something different. It’s about growing leaders who are rooted, honest, and fully themselves.
In this space, we:
reconnect to our histories and fuller selves
understand how our stories shape how we show up and lead
name harm and practice accountability within our communities
lead with authenticity, without shrinking or performing
Ways to Engage
-

Latine Leadership Coaching
This work is focused on supporting Latine leaders in growing into their full, authentic selves, personally and professionally.
Through coaching and community-centered learning, we explore identity, unlearn harmful patterns shaped by assimilation, and build leadership approaches that are grounded, honest, and sustainable.
-

Workshops & Learning Spaces
These workshops create space for us to reconnect to our histories, make sense of what we’ve been taught, and unlearn what no longer serves us.
Together, we explore identity, anti-Blackness in our communities, and our shared roots, while building the language, awareness, and accountability needed to move differently in our communities and leadership.

Leading from Our Roots: Fellowship
A cohort-based experience for Latine leaders ready to go deeper. This is a space where we come together to learn and unlearn, reflect, and grow alongside one another.
Grounded in identity, history, and leadership, this fellowship supports participants in reconnecting to their roots, making sense of what we’ve been taught, and practicing new ways of leading that feel more honest, grounded, and fully our own. Reach out to learn more about our next cohort.
